Overview
Tom Kollar is the Managing Partner of the Hong Kong office and leads the Firm’s Corporate & Securities practice in Asia. He focuses on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity transactions. With more than 15 years of experience advising clients across the region, Tom has worked on transactions throughout Asia’s active markets and has deep experience in emerging and frontier jurisdictions.
Tom represents issuers and investment banks in a broad range of debt, equity, and equity‑linked capital markets transactions, including high‑yield offerings, regulatory capital instruments, corporate hybrids, Rule 144A/Regulation S placements, SEC‑registered offerings, privatizations, liability management exercises and all aspects of public and private credit in the capital markets.
In M&A, Tom advises sponsors on both buy‑and sell‑side matters across the full deal lifecycle, including post‑acquisition portfolio management and related compliance considerations. He also counsels boards of public and private companies on fiduciary duties and governance obligations, particularly in connection with complex or time‑sensitive matters.
