Responsibilities 

  • Assisting real estate partners in handling real estate transactions including acquisitions, disposals and property joint ventures, etc. 

Requirements

  • Hong Kong qualified lawyer with 1-2 years PQE. 
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
  • Good drafting skill is essential. Ability to draft in Chinese would be an advantage.
  • Hard working and able to work as a member of a large team.
  • Prior exposure to real estate/property work is an advantage but not essential. Also suitable for junior corporate/commercial lawyers. 

Real Estate – Senior Associate

Responsibilities

  • Handling a variety of real estate transactions, experience in the following areas will be an advantage:
    • Project conveyancing (residential and non-residential) including application for consent to pre-sale.
    • Acquisitions of properties for redevelopment purposes.
  • Providing advice to clients in relation to land grants, modifications and other real estate development matters.
  • Drafting project development documents including deeds of mutual covenant incorporating management agreement, sale and purchase agreements, assignment, and other related documents.
  • Supervising paralegals in project conveyancing matters.

Requirements

  • 5 years or above PQE in real estate work.
  • Preferably with experience in project conveyancing work although applicants without such experience are welcome to apply.
  • Capable to handle assigned tasks independently (in particular the capability to review and approve title deeds).
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Self-motivated and attention to details, able to work under pressure and as member of a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills, commercial acumen and client management skills.
