Veronica has extensive experience advising Fortune 500 clients on compliance with cybersecurity requirements and national security authorities. She advises a broad spectrum of industries, across IT and OT, on proactive cybersecurity services and incident response including private equity firms and their portfolio companies, financial services, cryptocurrency, space and satellite, defense, transportation, technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, and energy. Veronica is one of the leading partners for the Space & Satellite industry group for the Americas.

Experience

  • Served as breach coach to clients facing cyber incident response for a broad range of incidents, including ransomware, state-sponsored intrusions and breaches of sensitive information, as well as addressing legal, regulatory and reputational situations throughout the incident lifecycle.
  • Provided strategic counseling for cyber legal risk assessments, including penetration tests and red teaming conducted under privilege.
  • Ran tabletop exercises and training sessions related to cybersecurity, national security and business continuity risks.
  • Advised on vulnerability disclosure programs and sharing of threat information with ISACs and government agencies globally.
  • Provided advice regarding international law and human rights law, including advice to a United Nations entity regarding privacy considerations of cross-border data sharing for law enforcement and counterterrorism purposes.
  • Advised clients on M&A due diligence regarding cybersecurity, emerging technologies, and national security considerations.
  • Prepared governance programs regarding deployment of emerging technologies.
  • Supported the response to Congressional inquiries and requests for information on national security matters.
  • Advised entities on negotiations of, and compliance with, agreements with US national security agencies.
