Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Eletrobras on participation in ANEEL’s first power transmission auction of 2024
Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Eletrobras on the preparation and negotiation of the contracts and other documents required for its participation in the Power Transmission Auction nº 01/2024-ANEEL, held today, 03.28.2024, at the headquarters of Brazil's stock exchange (B3).
The company, through its subsidiary Eletronorte, submitted offers for 10 out of the 15 lots auctioned, and won Lots 1, 3, 5 and 9, composed by Transmission Lines and Substations in the States of Piauí, Ceará, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Bahia e Santa Catarina, totaling 1.997 km of extension and estimated investments of BRL 5.6 billion, and with total Maximum Allowed Revenue of BRL 590.5 million.
The team was led by partners Débora Yanasse and Luciana Sodré, and included associates Luisa Tortolano Barreto, Henrique Rojas, Julio Barboza, Bruno Martins Guedes Ribeiro, Caio Uliana de Souza, and Guilherme Galiazzi.
