In addition to his experience advising most of the leading corporate trustees in Hong Kong in relation to bond offerings by companies from the PRC, Japan, Indonesia and Australia, Steven has experience in various post-issuance matters:

  • Advised a PRC bank licensed in Hong Kong in connection with its role as trustee in the liability management of a Beijing-based property developer listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong
  • Advised a London-based trust house in its multiple roles (including trustee, collateral agent, calculation agent, monitoring agent and paying agent) in connection with the scheme of arrangement carried out by a leading property developer headquartered in Tianjin
  • Advised an American multinational investment bank in its role as trustee in connection with the liability management of PRC residential real estate developer listed on the New York Stock Exchange
  • Advised a German global investment bank in connection with the exchange offer and tax redemption by an Indian bond issuer, being one of the largest sellers of renewable energy to C&I (commercial and industrial) consumers in India
  • Advised an American multinational investment bank in its role as trustee and collateral agents in connection with the bondholder instructions from ad hoc groups, including presenting winding up petitions and enforcing collaterals against multiple PRC property developers in the courts of Hong Kong, the PRC, the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands and Bermuda
