The government is consulting on draft regulations introducing new investment and disclosure duties for trustees of UK pension schemes. The proposals include a requirement for trustees to set out in their scheme’s statement of investment principles how they take account of financially material considerations such as environmental, social and governance considerations, and a requirement for trustees to prepare a statement on members’ views.
