• Represented private investors (road operator and investment fund) in the road concession project of Lote 2 - Paraná, including the assessment of the project and assistance for their joint participation in the bidding procedure. The clients won the bidding procedure.
• Advised private investors in the assessment of the road concession project of BR-381/MG.
• Represented private investors (road operator and investment fund) in the road concession program of the State of Minas Gerais, including the assessment of Triângulo Mineiro, Sul de Minas and Varginha-Furnas concession projects and assistance for their joint participation in the bidding procedures. The clients won the bidding procedure.
• Advised a private investor in the assessment of the road concession project of Noroeste Paulista.
• Advised an investment fund in the assessment of the road concession project of BR-381/262/MG/ES.
• Advised a mining company in assessing the railway concession project of FIOL and in its participation in the bidding procedure. The client won the bidding procedure.
• Advised an airport operator in developing the legal studies for the structuring of the concession of the State Airport of Pampulha/MG. The studies were used by the State of Minas Gerais in the final model of the project.
• Supported the representation of Infraero for assessing the sale of its corporate stake at airports’ concessionaires.
• Represented foreign investor in the assessment of the PPP of Road Ring of Belo Horizonte and in its participation in the bidding procedure.
• Supported the representation of an investment fund in assessing the privatization project of Companhia Docas do Espírito Santo – CODESA (the former port authority of the Vitoria and Barra do Riacho Ports).
• Advised a trading company and a port operator in the spin-off of a port lease agreement.
• Conducted regulatory due diligence and supported the draft of transaction documents in the context of the acquisitIon of concessionaires CBN, CRA and CRC. The client (buyer) closed the deal.
• Advised an investment fund in the public consultation of road projects of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (RSC-287 and ERS-324).
• Prior to joining Tauil & Chequer in association with Mayer Brown, Juliana supported the structuring of the greenfield railway project of Ferrogrão.

Water, sewage and solid waste

• Represented private investors in the privatization of CORSAN (BRL 4 billion deal).
• Represented private investors in the assessment and bidding procedure of the water and sewage concessions of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The clients won two (BRL 25 billion in CAPEX) of the four blocks of the bidding procedure.
• Supported PNUD, on behalf of the Ministry of Economy and the National Water and Basic Sanitation Agency, in developing studies on regulatory models for water and sewage in preparation for the issuance of the reference norm on the matter.
• Advised Fundação Ezute, on behalf of the Municipality of Pomerode/SC, in structuring a water and sewage concession. The bidding procedure was successfully concluded.
• Represented a private investor in preparing the legal studies for a solid waste PPP project in the Municipality of Sorocaba. The legal studies were chosen by the Municipality as the basis for the final project.
• Advised a consulting company, on behalf of the Municipality of Campina Grande/PB, in structuring a water and sewage concession project.
• Represented a private investor in the assessment and bidding procedure of the water and sewage concession project in the Metropolitan Region of Alagoas.
• Represented a private investor in the assessment and bidding procedure of the water and sewage concession projects of blocks B and C of the State of Alagoas.
• Represented a private investor in the assessment and bidding procedure of the water and sewage concession project in municipalities of the State of Amapá.
• Represented a private investor in the assessment and bidding procedure of the sewage PPP project of CAGECE. The client won the two lots of the bidding procedure.
• Represented a private investor in the assessment and bidding procedure of the sewage PPP project of SANEPAR. The client won the bidding procedure.
• Represented a private investor in the assessment and bidding procedure of the sewage PPP project of SANEPAR (Microrregião Centro-Litoral). The client won the bidding procedure.
• Represented a private investor in the assessment and bidding procedure of the sewage PPP project of CESAN in the Municipality of Cariacica/ES. The client won the bidding procedure.
• Represented a private investor in the assessment of the water and sewage concession project of the Municipality of Teresópolis/RJ.
• Represented a private investor in the assessment and bidding procedure of the solid waste management concession project of the Municipalities of CGIRS-Cariri. The client won the bidding procedure.

Public lighting

• Assisted BNDES in structuring the public lighting PPP project of Caruaru/PE.
• Represented a private investor in the public lighting PPP project of Aracaju/SE.
• Represented a private investor in the public lighting PPP project of Teresina/PI.
• Represented a private investor in the public lighting PPP project of Porto Alegre/RS.

• Supported BNDES with Public Law aspects of the structuring of the privatization of Eletrobras.
• Represented a private investor in the irrigated agriculture concession project of Baixio de Irecê. The client won the bidding.
• Prior to joining Tauil & Chequer in association with Mayer Brown, Juliana supported the structuring of a federal PPP project for the integrated management of telecommunication networks of the Air Force Command.
