Overview
Paul Chandler is a partner in Mayer Brown’s Technology & IP Transactions practice. He represents clients in a broad range of technology transactions, including those for the development, licensing, implementation, distribution and marketing of software, cloud/SaaS, AI/machine learning and other technology-related products, as well as information technology and business process outsourcing. Paul helps clients create open source software (OSS) policies, address OSS issues, and evaluate participation in OSS projects. Paul also has extensive experience addressing the technology, sourcing, security and IP aspects of M&A, joint venture and strategic alliance transactions.
Paul is a registered patent attorney and, prior to joining Mayer Brown, worked as a research engineer with General Motors Research Laboratories in Warren, Michigan and as a computer systems analyst with Minkin Chandler Corporation.
