Mayer Brown acts as US counsel to iCON Infrastructure for acquisition of QSL International and related acquisition financing

Mayer Brown represented funds advised by iCON Infrastructure LLP, an independent investment firm focused on investments in infrastructure businesses across Europe and North America, as US counsel in connection with the acquisition of QSL International Limited and the related acquisition financing.

Mayer Brown’s role in the transaction is as US co-counsel to Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. The transaction is anticipated to close in mid-2024.

The acquisition team was led by partners Jason Wagenmaker and John Ablan and associate Gretchen Winkel and included partners David Saye, Remmelt Reigersman and Stephanie Vasconcellos, counsel Roger Patrick and Kim Leffert and associate Ryan Lifland in the firm’s Charlotte, Chicago, Northern California and Washington DC offices.

The acquisition financing team was led by partner Mae Rogers and counsel Tal Ben-Porat and included counsel Michael Loquercio and associate Stephanie Wood in the firm’s Chicago and New York offices.
