Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Hapag-Lloyd on joint venture with Norsul
Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Hapag-Lloyd, a leading German multinational shipping company, on a joint venture agreement with Norsul, which will provide cabotage services, multimodal logistics services and feeder operations for the Brazilian market.
The combination of the wide range of services provided by Hapag-Lloyd, which offers solutions in multimodal logistics and long and short-distance transport, and Norsul's specialty in domestic and international dry and liquid bulk transport services, represents a differentiating factor for both companies' operations in the maritime transport sector in Brazil.
The team was led by partners Christian Roschmann and Lilian Toscani, and included partners Francisco Todorov and Adriana Giannini, as well as associates Stefano Braga, André Pini and Felipe Pereira.
