Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Aegea on bidding process in Ceará

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Aegea on its participation in the bidding procedure conducted by the Intermunicipal Consortium for Integrated Management of Solid Waste (CGIRS) for the concession of treatment and final disposal services of solid waste in 9 municipalities of the Cariri region, in the state of Ceará, in the amount of approximately R$ 1.4 billion. The company participated in the bid together with Engep Ambiental (a company of the Multilixo Group), through the Consortium AEGEA-ENGEP, winner of the dispute.

The firm's work included a detailed analysis of the bidding documents, preparing requests for clarifications, holding meetings to discuss the main aspects of the concession, and a drafting a risk analysis of the project.
The team was led by partner Bruno Werneck and included the participation of associates Juliana Deguirmendjian and Leticia Vicente, all from the Infrastructure practice, as well as associate Victor Trevizan, from the Environmental area.
