Mayer Brown advises on winning deal at Proximo Americas 2020 Deal of the Year Awards

Mayer Brown advised on the transaction that was named “North America Roads Deal of the Year” at the 2020 Proximo Americas Deal of the Year Awards. The awards recognize notable transactions across the region in the infrastructure and energy sectors.

North America Roads Deal of the Year – Metropistas


Mayer Brown represented Ullico Infrastructure Fund in connection with the $600 million acquisition of 49 percent of the outstanding membership interest of Autopistas Metropolitanas de Puerto Rico, LLC from two infrastructure funds managed by Goldman Sachs. The team was led by Government & Global Trade partners David Narefsky and Joe Seliga (both Chicago) and included: Banking & Finance – partner Mae Rogers (New York) and associates Brian Kent and Matthew Kita and staff attorney Brigid Leahy; Tax Transactions & Consulting – partner Steven Garden and associate George Haines; Government & Global Trade – counsel Jeromy Cannon and associate Nick Vallorano; Corporate & Securities – counsel Mike Serafini and associate Stefania Alessi; and Employment & Benefits – associate Joe Lifsics (all Chicago).
