Sarah Shearman is a professional support lawyer in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice of the London office. She joined Mayer Brown in 2022.
Sarah has post-qualification experience in banking and finance, as well as extensive litigation and dispute resolution experience primarily in the banking and finance sector. Sarah’s early transactional experience covers a wide range of financial products including loans, commercial mortgage-backed securities, derivatives and bonds. Her recent and more extensive litigation and dispute resolution experience includes disputes involving complex financial products, derivatives, high-profile class actions, mis-selling and misrepresentation and high-value, multi-party bribery and corruption. She has acted for clients in the pre-action stages, throughout the Court process, through mediations, in enforcement scenarios and in group litigation, including assisting both institutional and retail litigants in obtaining funding and ATE insurance.
