Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Andrew served as Senior Special Counsel in the Legal Division at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Over 13 years at the Federal Reserve, he became the agency’s primary expert on a wide range of topics in banking supervision and regulation. He regularly provided counsel to Federal Reserve Board members and staff on the agency’s most complex regulatory and supervisory matters, focusing on capital regulation, activities permissibility, mergers & acquisitions, resolution planning, and insurance supervision. Andrew also interacted with principals and staff of all the federal banking regulatory agencies as a key participant in interagency initiatives.
