Paul de Bernier serves as co-leader of Mayer Brown’s global Corporate & Securities practice. Paul is particularly active in technology, media/entertainment, food & beverage, energy and healthcare transactions.
Paul’s practice focuses on M&A, capital markets and other corporate transactions, including joint ventures, private equity, venture capital and restructuring. He regularly advises on US and international commercial contracts, including distribution, supply, manufacturing, logistics and licensing arrangements. He also advises management and boards on corporate governance and regulatory matters.
Paul spent a number of years as a partner in Mayer Brown’s London office, where he led the US corporate and securities group. Paul’s experience includes cross-border transactions and advising clients with international operations, including Asian, European and other non-US clients investing in the US.
He is also co-chair of our India practice and an active member of our East Asia and Healthcare/Life Sciences practices.
Paul has lived for extensive periods in India, the UK and the US and is fluent in Hindi and conversant in French.
