Flávia Chiquito dos Santos leads the Competition and Antitrust Law practice at Tauil & Chequer in association with Mayer Brown. With over 20 years of experience, she works on investigations of anticompetitive conduct, merger control, and strategic counseling on competition matters.
Flávia advises clients in administrative proceedings before the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), including investigations related to cartels and other anticompetitive practices, as well as competition analysis of mergers and acquisitions, negotiation of leniency agreements and cease-and-desist commitments, and representation of interested third parties in competition proceedings.
She counsels and represents domestic and multinational companies across various sectors on complex antitrust matters, including administrative investigations, preventive analysis of competition risks, and implementation of antitrust compliance programs. Flávia also provides strategic advice in sensitive situations involving competition authorities, supporting clients in defining legal and regulatory strategies in investigations and transactions with potential competition impacts.
