Mayer Brown achieved the 5.0 Mansfield Certification in the US and the 1.0 certification for the UK for 2021-22, and has confirmed its commitment to continue to seek recertification in the future.

The Mansfield Rule grew from Diversity Lab’s Women in Law Hackathon in 2016, and measures whether law firms affirmatively consider at least 30 percent women, lawyers of color, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities and senior lateral positions.
Under the Mansfield Rule Initiative, law firms maintain data to demonstrate these commitments.
