The ABA Banking Law Committee is holding its 2022 Annual Meeting virtually and will offer over several interactive programs by leading industry practitioners.

Financial Services Regulatory & Enforcement partner Matthew Bisanz (Washington DC) will moderate three panels at the meeting. The first will address the latest prudential regulatory developments impacting financial institutions, with particular emphasis on the finalization of the Basel III capital and liquidity requirements, further tailoring of enhanced prudential standards, and potential regulation of systemic nonbank activities and institutions.. The second will explore the intersection of banking and fintech for purposes of setting the right regulatory perimeter. The third will discuss how institutions and regulators are responding to developments in digital assets and where banks need to be looking for the next opportunity or risk.
