Overview

Isabelle van Sambeck is a counsel in Mayer Brown's Düsseldorf office with long-term experience in human resources and data privacy matters‎.

She has extensive experience in advising and representing national and international clients in connection with all types of individual, collective and transaction-related employment law matters (including cross-border M&A transactions, TUPE transfers of employees, restructuring, reorganization and company pension law matters). Furthermore, her expertise comprises national and cross-border data privacy issues (e.g. in the field of employee data privacy, telecommunication, telemedia etc.).

  • Long-term advice and support of a major global logistic company in relation to telecommunication and telemedia data privacy issues occurring in connection with the development and lodging of an innovative electronic communication product and other related software tools.
  • Advised a globally acting pension management company on social data privacy issues (in particular, transfer and use of such data).
