Overview
Dara’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in state and federal court, with a focus on breach of contract disputes, class action defense, and matters involving cybersecurity and data protection issues. She has experience across all stages of litigation and mediation, including motion practice, discovery, deposition preparation, and trial preparation.
Dara also counsels clients on data privacy compliance and cybersecurity preparedness, including evaluating client practices for compliance with biometric information privacy laws and assessing litigation risk under California privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), as well as other U.S. and international data protection frameworks. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), she brings both litigation and regulatory insight to clients navigating the intersection of commercial disputes and data security risk.
