Overview
Joshua Flew has a broad range of experience acting on private M&A transactions for large international corporations across various industry sectors and advising private equity investors and their portfolio companies in connection with acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations. Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2025, Joshua spent six years in the London office of a prominent international law firm. He has also spent time on secondment to an insurance company.
Experience
- Advised Vitruvian Partners on its acquisition of Great Rail Journeys, a specialist tour operator, from Duke Street Capital.
- Advised Mediawan, the French media conglomerate, on its majority investment in the See-Saw Films group, a British-Australian multi-award winning film and television production group.
- Advised the M Group Services (MGS) management team on the sale of the MGS Group, a leading infrastructure provider in the water, energy, telecom and transport sectors, from PAI Partners to CVC Capital Partners.*
- Acted for AUB Group on its investment into the Movo Group, a UK insurance broking business with an appointed representative network, an equity broking group and an insurance broking technology platform.*
