Rebeca Liareno is an associate in the Energy and, Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown in the Rio de Janeiro office, focusing on advising domestic and foreign companies in the electricity and infrastructure industries.

Her practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions of companies in the electricity sector, mainly related to wind and solar photovoltaic projects for centralized and distributed generation, having participated in audits and corporate restructurings and analysis of typical sector and construction contracts. She also acts in regulatory consultancy and administrative demands for the implementation of electricity infrastructure projects in all segments, especially those related to Distributed Generation.
