Juan F. Lopez Valek

Juan Lopez Valek is an associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office. Juan’s practice covers a wide range of federal income tax matters with a particular focus on international tax planning for US and non-US multinational companies and on structured finance and securitization transactions, including REMICs and other asset-backed transactions. Juan also regularly advises clients on corporate tax matters, financing arrangements and the formation and investment activities of private funds.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Juan worked as a senior tax associate in a public accounting firm based in New York.
