Gallien Lefevre has extensive experience advising sponsors, infrastructure funds, private equity investors, and agency and commercial lenders on complex, multi-sourced project financings and “first-of-a-kind” project development and financing transactions across the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, and emerging markets.
His practice spans digital infrastructure (limited-recourse hyperscale and AI data centre developments and financings), energy transition (offshore and onshore wind, utility and rooftop solar platforms, and corporate PPAs), major transport infrastructure (high-speed rail networks, deepwater ports, and airport concessions), and large-scale petrochemical and conventional energy projects.
Erfahrung
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Gallien advised:
- A leading APAC data centre developer on the limited-recourse project financing of a hyperscale data centre in South Korea.
- A leading APAC data centre developer on the limited-recourse debt financing and development of an AI data centre in Jakarta, Indonesia.
- A leading APAC data centre developer on the limited-recourse debt financing and development of a hyperscale data centre in Hong Kong.
- The lenders on the €530 million project financing of the Formosa 1 offshore wind farm in Taiwan (PFI Asia-Pacific Renewables Deal of the Year; IJGlobal Asia-Pacific Offshore Wind Deal of the Year; The Asset Triple A Renewable Energy Deal of the Year), and prior to that a sponsor on its initial equity investment in this project.
