Juan Gerolis

Juan advises on international and domestic transactions, assisting in the planning and execution of corporate reorganizations, drafting and negotiating commercial and corporate contracts, and navigating multijurisdictional regulatory frameworks. His work encompasses conducting comprehensive legal and commercial due diligence, analyzing and drafting a broad range of agreements, and preparing detailed memoranda on complex legal, regulatory, and contractual issues. In 2025, Juan was ranked 4th by TTR as a "Rising Star Dealmaker" in Brazil by total transaction value, which exceeded USD 5 billion.

Juan has advised national oil companies, government ministries and regulatory agencies, multilateral development institutions, international energy and infrastructure companies, and Brazilian multinational corporations on cross-border M&A transactions, energy projects, corporate reorganizations and regulatory matters across Latin America, Africa and Asia.

• Advised Camargo Correa in the development of its projects in Africa, including M&A operations for the purchase and sale of subsidiaries in Angola and Mozambique.
• Advised Petronas Petróleo Brasil Ltda. in the registration and qualification processes for the 1st and 2nd Cycle of the Permanent Offer under the Production Sharing Regime, as well as for the 4th Cycle of the Permanent Offer under the Concession Regime, organized by the National Petroleum Agency - ANP.
• Advised international service providers on participation in tender procedures carried out by Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras.
• Advised international service providers on issues related to supplier registration in Petrobras' system for suppliers – Petronect.
• Advised national and multinational companies on administrative demands before the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency - ANP.
• Advised multinational companies with intercompany loans, capital increase and registration of financial transactions in the Central Bank of Brazil (SISBACEN) system.
