Evan DeCresce is a Banking & Finance counsel in Mayer Brown’s New York office. Evan’s practice focuses on securitization transactions involving auto loans and leases, trade receivables, equipment leases, telecommunications services and equipment leases and installment sales contracts, student loans, credit card receivables, residential mortgages, commercial loans and other assets located in the United States and abroad. Evan represents banks and other lenders, including asset-backed commercial paper conduits and hedge funds, and borrowers.

Evan’s experience with the securitization and monetization of trade receivables is particularly extensive. Evan leads trade receivables securitization transactions that involve off-balance-sheet accounting treatment; credit insurance; factoring sub-facilities; letter of credit sub-facilities; acquisition financing; foreign obligors, servicers, originators and borrowers; foreign currency receivables, borrowings and letters of credit; and originators and servicers in, entering and exiting bankruptcy.
