Mayer Brown appoints Erica Murphy as chief people and talent officer

NEW YORK – Mayer Brown announced today that Erica Murphy has joined the firm as chief people and talent officer. In her new role, Erica will lead the firm's global people strategy, including talent management, professional development, workforce planning, employee engagement, recruitment, and total rewards. 

Erica joins Mayer Brown from Ropes & Gray, where she served as chief human resources officer and a member of the firm's senior leadership team. She brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources, talent strategy, organizational development, and law firm management, including an early career as a labor and employment attorney.
