Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Eletrobras on the 1st power transmission auction of 2023
Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Eletrobras on the preparation and negotiation of the contracts and other documents required for its participation in the Power Transmission Auction nº 01/2023-ANEEL, held on 06.30.2023, at the headquarters of Brazil's stock exchange (B3).
The company, through its subsidiary Furnas, submitted offers for all the 9 lots in the Auction, and won Lot 4, composed by a Transmission Line in the State of Minas Gerais with 303 km and an estimated investment of BRL 786.6 million, an annual revenue of BRL 68.7 million, and a discount of 45.75%.
