Four Mayer Brown practices named 2021 Practice Groups of the Year by Law360

Four Mayer Brown practice groups are recognized as 2021 “Practice Group of the Year” by Law360 for achievements in the Banking, Benefits, Environmental and Structured Finance categories. The annual awards honor “attorney teams behind litigation wins and major deals that resonated throughout the legal industry” in the past year, according to the publication. Brief write-ups included below:

  • Banking – For the third consecutive year, Mayer Brown was named a “Banking Practice Group of the Year” for securing numerous victories in high-profile banking litigation cases, including the dismissal of Anti-Terrorism Act claims brought against HSBC units. The firm also helped secure a voluntary dismissal in one of the first False Claims Act cases challenging loans under the federal Paycheck Protection Program for Citibank and Citigroup.
