EU Supply Chain Due Diligence and CBAM

As part of its mission to improve the competitiveness of the European Union, the European Commission published its “Sustainability Omnibus” package which proposes changes to several EU instruments, including in relation to supply chain due diligence obligations under the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (“CSDDD”) and imports of carbon-intensive products under the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (“CBAM”).
