Mayer Brown advised Towerbrook on the acquisition of Onoré by IDAK Food Group
Mayer Brown advised Towerbrook Capital Partners on the acquisition by its portfolio company IDAK Food Group, of a French specialist in artisanal frozen patisserie and snacking Onoré (formerly Boncolac) from Waterland Private Equity.
IDAK Food Group is a Swiss-based pan-European company in the premium frozen food sector, supported by TowerBrook Capital Partners. The group brings together several companies in Switzerland and Italy specialising in premium frozen foods, including Pizza & Snacks, Finger Food & Potato Snacks and Baked Goods & Patisserie.
With the support of its new industrial shareholder, Onoré intends to further strengthen its position as a global reference in high-quality frozen patisserie and foodservice products. The group will continue to build on its core strengths, authenticity, traditional recipes and product innovation, to enter new markets.
