Mayer Brown advises Seer Capital Management on sale of HomeXpress Mortgage to Chimera Investment

NEW YORK, June 13, 2025 – Mayer Brown represented Seer Capital Management in connection with the sale of HomeXpress Mortgage Corp., to Chimera Investment Corporation. HomeXpress Mortgage is a leading originator of consumer non-QM, investor business purpose, and other non-agency mortgage loan products with a nationwide presence across 46 states and Washington DC.

Chimera expects to close the transaction during the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
