Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown acted as deal counsel to G5 Partners, Solargrid and XP Investimentos on the financing of 19 Solargrid Group companies, which was carried out in two separate issuance and offering transactions of real estate receivables certificates by True Securitizadora, in the amount of approximately R$ 319 million. The funds from the transactions will be used for investments and reimbursing expenses related to the construction and operation of 27 real estate development projects composed of photovoltaic energy generating units, located in the states of Bahia, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
The real estate developments were in different construction phases and are exclusively for different clients, which made the deal more complex, as it required our team of lawyers to prepare distinct guarantees for each company and for each commercial note.
The team was led by partner Luis Montes (Banking and Finance) and counsel Jessica Queiroz (Real Estate Transactions and Investments), and included the participation of associates Luiza Uebel, Eduardo Moraes and Beatriz Lavigne.
