Mayer Brown advised Goodyear on the acquisition of all shares in tire wholesaler Reifen Burkhardt GmbH & Co. KG. The transaction was completed on September 1, 2022.
Goodyear is one of the largest tire companies in the world. The company employs approximately 72,000 people and operates 57 plants in 23 countries around the world. Mayer Brown is long-standing legal advisor to Goodyear and acted as counsel on the acquisition of Reifen Baierlacher KG.
Reifen Burkhardt GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1959 and is located in Bruchsal.
