Hong Kong partner Alan Linning is quoted in Ignites Asia's article discussing Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission's (SFC) proposed amendments to fund advertising rules. The proposal requires full client background checks to be carried out on professional investors before pitching any investment product.
Alan says the SFC’s proposed amendments “seem entirely unnecessary”.
