London — Mayer Brown has today launched “Investigations Lifecycle Insights”, a new financial services-focused podcast series with episodes that are less than 15-minutes long. Each episode provides valuable insights into the workings of both internal and regulator-led investigations.

Hosted by London senior associate Amanda Plowden, the first four episodes of “Investigations Lifecycle Insights” will feature discussions with partners Chris Chapman, James Whitaker (both London) and Glen A. Kopp (New York) from the firm’s global Dispute Resolution practice on the lifecycle of an investigation, from inception to conclusion, through to remediation.

“Investigations can be complex, legally challenging and difficult to navigate depending on the nature of the wrongdoing and who is doing the investigating," said Amanda Plowden. "With this easy to digest podcast series, we take listeners through the lifecycle of a typical investigation, and share our top tips on what organizations should consider at each stage to achieve the best possible outcome."

Each bite-sized episode covers a different stage of a typical investigation, and provides tips on how to navigate what can be a complex process, particularly if it is multi-jurisdictional.

In today’s climate, it is vital for companies to have access to legal advisers with the experience and resources to deal with all kinds of  investigations. Mayer Brown’s highly experienced cross-border investigations team has first-hand knowledge of regulatory and enforcement agencies worldwide and the effective formation and execution of internal investigations. Recognized by Global Investigations Review as a GIR Top 30 law firm, Mayer Brown's investigations team also includes several former government officials.
