Overview

Bryan Nese helps clients achieve favorable outcomes in complex patent litigation, both in district court and at the International Trade Commission (ITC). He has experience transforming in-house legal departments into revenue generators by advising clients on how IP assets can fit into an affirmative recovery plan, including by monetizing patent portfolios large and small.

Obtained:

  • Complete victory of no infringement on summary judgment for patent related to processes for producing the dietary supplement tocotrienol.
  • Jury verdict of $43.3 million for client, with the jury finding willful infringement of all claims of all seven asserted patents, covering digital image processing, GPS navigation, cellular transmission, and audio processing; served as lead technical associate throughout the case.
  • Jury verdict of no patent infringement for claims directed to process for manufacturing coenzyme Q10 in declaratory judgment action.
