Oliver Williams helps clients on a range of complex, cross-border and domestic securitisation, debt capital markets, asset-based lending, and real estate finance transactions. He also advises clients on the impact of UK and EU financial services regulation on banking transactions.
As a member of the firm’s Global ESG Group, Oliver also advises companies and financial institutions on sustainable finance and ESG-related matters, including in respect of sustainability-related disclosures under the UK and EU regimes. He also has experience in ESG-related litigation, given his previous role at an international NGO. Oliver has had numerous ESG-related articles published in Pratt’s Energy Law Reports and on the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance. He has also presented to NGOs and universities on ESG-related matters. He has won external awards in respect of his ESG-related thought leadership.
