Overview
Nick Kendrick is a counsel in the Singapore office of Mayer Brown's Global Energy and Projects & Infrastructure practices. He is an accomplished energy lawyer with significant experience in the LNG and upstream oil and gas sectors.
Nick frequently advises companies on LNG transactions, project development, acquisitions and divestments and joint ventures. Nick is currently advising on a number of transactions across the LNG value chain, including the development of an LNG-to-power project in Vietnam, the development of an FLNG project in West Africa, and the development of an LNG import project in Hong Kong. He is also advising major energy companies in connection with the sale of significant quantities of LNG under long-term LNG SPAs.
Nick has also recently advised on a number of upstream oil and gas transactions across South East Asia, with a particular focus on Indonesia and Malaysia, and has substantial experience advising on decommissioning, abandonment and transition arrangements relating to the expiry of upstream petroleum arrangements.
In addition, Nick works closely with disputes colleagues and is currently advising on several arbitrations involving LNG transactions.
