Mayer Brown advises Tokyo Gas on its 20-year LNG sale and purchase agreement with Venture Global

Singapore – Mayer Brown advised Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Gas) on its 20-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with Venture Global, Inc. (Venture Global). Under this LNG SPA, Tokyo Gas has agreed to buy 1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG from Venture Global for 20 years, starting in 2030.

Mayer Brown’s role included advising Tokyo Gas as LNG buyer on the drafting and negotiation of the long-term LNG SPA for deliveries on an FOB basis.
