Dr. Martin Heuber, LLM (University of London)

Martin Heuber is a partner in the Frankfurt office of Mayer Brown's Banking & Finance practice. He advises corporates, financial institutions and sponsors on all aspects of debt financing, in particular on syndicated lending, acquisition finance as well as real estate finance. Martin has also advised on various restructurings. Furthermore, he deals with digitalization issues in the field of financial services, such as increasing the efficiency and quality and optimizing the entire value chain of financial service providers.

Martin is a lecturer for corporate finance / acquisition finance law at University St. Gallen.

Before joining Mayer Brown in 2016, Martin worked for another international law firm in Frankfurt.

• Advised an international bank as documentation agent of a syndicated revolving facility for an MDAX company.
• Advised a portfolio company on its refinancing by way of a syndicated facilities agreement.
• Advised a banking consortium on a EUR 1.25 billion syndicated revolving multi-currency facility.
• Advised an international bank on the refinancing of a syndicated revolving credit facility for a chemical company.

Acquisition Finance

• Advised Triton on the acquisition of Kälte Eckert.
• Advised Avedon on the acquisition of a shareholding in FormMed HealthCare AG.
• Advised a banking consortium on a fully underwritten acquisition facility for an MDAX company.
• Advised a banking consortium on an EUR 230 million facilities agreement in relation to the acquisition of an infrastructure company.
• Advised a banking consortium on the fully underwritten acquisition facility for a technology company for the acquisition of a US target.
• Advised an international bank on sole underwriting for an equity investor for the intended acquisition of a listed company.
• Advised a DAX company on the acquisition financing for the acquisition of a US target.
