Hitching Biden’s Corporate Tax Proposals to the Global Tax Bandwagon

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and other high-ranking Treasury officials have said that the Biden administration’s corporate and international tax proposals would not have an anti-competitive effect on U.S. multinational enterprises in the global marketplace because they would be adopted concurrently with a multinational agreement that would mitigate the anti-competitive effect.
