The 2022 National Conference, hosted by the Society for Corporate Governance, is a three-day program intended to provide information on what others are doing and what the best practices are for public companies, including: how to collect and report ESG data, how to conduct a virtual or an in-person annual meeting, how to disclose risk factors on the Ukraine war or cybersecurity threats, and how to orient new directors, to name a few.
On June 23, Mayer Brown partner, Christina Thomas, will lead the discussion on the Climate Disclosure panel session, covering the following topics:
- Setting climate goals
- Understanding net zero and Scope 1/2/3 emissions
- Climate risk assessments
- Disclosure on website vs. SEC filings
