The Practising Law Institute (PLI) will host a hybrid program, Fundamentals of Swaps & Other Derivatives 2022, on March 14, 2022. This program will explain what OTC derivatives have been, what they are becoming and how they are documented.
Mayer Brown partner, Curtis Doty, will deliver a presentation as part of a four-person panel entitled, "Regulatory Fundamentals," which will cover topics including regulated statuses, such as eligible contract participants, swap dealers, major swap participants and commodity pools; regulated "utilities" and service providers, such as clearinghouses, futures commission merchants, swap execution facilities, swap data repositories; and extraterritorial issues.
