It’s Not a Formality: The FHA Annual Recertification Process

Share

Every FHA-approved lender must file its annual recertification and audited financials within 90 days of the end of its fiscal year. For most lenders, that deadline is March 31.

Too many lenders treat the process as no more than a formality—at their peril; serious enforcement consequences await those making inaccurate or false certifications. And this new year brings changes of which many filers may be unaware: last fall, HUD amended the certification language for 2020 filings.

In this one-hour webinar, Mayer Brown partners Phil Schulman and Krista Cooley will:

  • Navigate the FHA certification process
  • Interpret the new annual certification statements
  • Describe enforcement consequences
  • Provide useful tips for completing the annual process

CLE credit is pending.
