Kevin Weehunt is an experienced litigator in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Mayer Brown’s New York Office. Kevin’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, international arbitration enforcement, government investigations, and cryptocurrency litigation. Kevin’s experience includes representing investor-states in enforcement and vacatur proceedings arising from international arbitration awards, pharmaceutical companies in nationwide product liability disputes, multi-national corporations under government investigation, and financial institutions in class-action litigations.
Experience
Kevin’s recent client victories include:
- Successfully represented investment fund in obtaining confirmation, recognition, and enforcement of international arbitration award against investor-state’s petition to vacate the arbitral award.
- Supported the Representation of a large international bank in obtaining the dismissal of antitrust and other claims brought my numerous classes of plaintiffs arising from the setting of various benchmark interest rates, including USD LIBOR, JPY LIBOR, and EURIBOR.
- Obtained dismissal of complaint seeking nine-figures in alleged damages arising from cryptocurrency transactions.
