Overview
Hannah Vanderlaan is an associate attorney in Mayer Brown's Chicago office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice and Environmental Litigation group. Her practice focuses primarily on toxic tort and environmental litigation.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Hannah practiced at a Chicago law firm where her focus was commercial and environmental litigation as well as regulatory counseling on solid waste and air issues. In law school, Hannah served as a legal extern at the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, Environmental Bureau where she gained experience working on a variety of federal and state environmental enforcement actions. While in law school, Hannah also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Chicago-Kent Environmental and Energy Law Journal and was actively involved in the Chicago Environmental Law Clinic.
