Overview

Jan C. Stewart is a finance and securities partner whose practice is focused on structured finance representing originators, investment banks, commercial banks, funds, asset-backed commercial paper conduits and investors in the public and private markets.

Jan has experience structuring complex financing transactions, including the securitization of various types of assets such as student loans, credit card receivables, commercial loans (CLOs) and litigation funding receivables.  In addition, she advises clients in connection with securities and corporate law, including acquisitions, asset dispositions, repurchase transactions and tender offers.  Jan also has experience in the workout, restructuring and settlement of various forms of transaction and asset types.
