Overview
Alanood Sinjab is an associate in the London office of Mayer Brown’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.
She focuses on commercial litigation and international arbitration. She has acted as counsel for claimants and defendants/respondents in disputes across a wide-range of industries including construction, corporate acquisitions, finance, hospitality, infrastructure, licensing, manufacturing, renewable energy and space & satellite. She has worked on a number of disputes before the English Commercial Court and Technology and Construction Court. She has also handled arbitrations under DIAC, DIFC-LCIA, ICC and UNCITRAL arbitration rules with seats in Dubai, London and Paris.
Alanood holds a Master of Honours in International Relations & Philosophy from the University of St Andrews and is a recipient of the Laidlaw Undergraduate Research and Leadership Scholarship. She spent a year of her studies at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po), focusing on International Trade and Public International Law, and at the London School of Economics, where she completed a course in European Union Law.
She joined Mayer Brown in 2020 and is qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales. In addition to her native Arabic and English, Alanood is also proficient in French.
