Viviana has strong experience in several industries, including food & beverages, wines and spirits, retail, sports & entertainment, and pharma. She draws upon years of experience managing all aspects of domestic and international trademark portfolios, including strategy, procurement, and enforcement. As a Spanish native speaker and a dual-qualified civil and common law attorney, with multiple years of trademark practice in Mexico and the United States, Viviana has achieved success for clients in particularly challenging jurisdictions, such as Latin America and the Caribbean. She is well qualified to represent clients doing business in Latin America and around the world – as well as Latin American clients doing business in the US. Her understanding of common and civil law, background, and willingness to understand, appreciate, and experience cultural differences allows her to provide invaluable service to clients.

While at Harvard Law School Viviana was a contributor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology (JOLT) and edited a piece for the JOLT Summer Symposium. Viviana is co-chair of Communications of the Harvard Law School Association of Washington, DC.
